When your documents are ready, submit your resume exclusively to DMW-licensed recruitment agencies—verifying their status directly on the DMW website—or apply through official government-to-government (G2G) placement programs.
3. Medical Screening & TECO Visa Processing
Taiwan has rigorous health standards, requiring you to undergo a pre-employment medical examination strictly at a DMW-accredited clinic. Following a passing result, wait for your approved employer in Taiwan to secure your official Work Permit from Taiwan's Ministry of Labor on your behalf. With the work permit in hand, submit your Resident Visa application to the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Manila. This application requires the approved work permit, a MECO-authenticated employment contract, your medical clearance, NBI clearance, and PSA documents, with processing typically taking about 6 working days.
4. Final Clearances & Pre-Departure
For your final steps, log into the DMW portal to apply for your Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC) or generate your digital OFW Travel Pass via the eGovPH app. Finalize your mandatory pre-departure requirements by updating your Pag-IBIG Fund registration and PhilHealth premium contributions. Before flying, prepare for Taiwan's arrival protocols, which require a secondary medical examination within 30 days of landing and an application for an Alien Residence Certificate (ARC) accompanied by your employer within your first 15 days.
